Hello AAW member!

 

Welcome to our first AAW Buying Club purchase opportunity!  This has consistently been one of the top requested benefits to be offered by the AAW and we are happy to announce that we are starting out with this benefit.  Being a part of a buying club enables us to make purchases at lower prices than are generally available, or to purchase goods that might be difficult to obtain independently.  

 

Buying Opportunity

Twice each year, Banyan Botanicals offers an additional 20% off their wholesale pricing to their approved wholesale accountholders.  Because of this added discount, we are starting our buying club offer with them.  

 

Can I participate?

The Ayurveda Association of Wisconsin (AAW) Buyers Club is limited to active members, including Professional, Business and Complimentary Health members who also meet the following requirements:

 

  • Membership is current and in good standing (apply online today)
  • Business or Federal Tax ID
  • Seller’s Resale # (if applicable)

 

How do I order?

Shop for your items at https://www.banyanbotanicals.com 

Request access to the Shared Spreadsheet 

Create your itemized order:

  • Access shared spreadsheet
  • Find your name on the sheets on bottom 
  • Go to sheet and enter items you are ordering (only in yellow sections)
  • Save the information upon exiting

 

Final pricing will be calculated by the Buying Club sub-committee.  Pricing will be based on the best wholesale price we can attain, which may include special or bulk discounts.  Shipping and handling will be added to each order after all orders are placed.  Once your order is fully priced, you will receive a message from us, requesting your review, approval and payment by December 27th. Payments may be submitted via Paypal or check. 

 

What are the ordering deadlines?

Before your order will be included in the December purchase, all itemized orders must be entered into the shared spreadsheet and paid for by the following critical deadlines.

How do I get my order?

We will be sending the order to a central location nearest to the majority of members participating in the order.  A separate message will be sent to you when the order is placed and again when the order arrives.  It will be your responsibility to arrange a pick up time with the representative at the shipping location and is expected to occur within 14 days of arrival.

Buying Club Requirements, Rules and Guidelines

 

A key benefit of the AAW is the ability for us to provide all members with access to a buying club.  Our buying club is organized to pool our members' collective buying power, enabling us to make purchases at lower prices than are generally available, or to purchase goods that might be difficult to obtain independently.  

 

The Ayurveda Association of Wisconsin (AAW) Buyers Club is limited to active members, including Professional, Business and Complimentary Health members who also meet the following requirements:

  • Membership is current and in good standing
  • Business or Federal Tax ID
  • Seller’s Resale # (if applicable)

 

Because we are pooling our purchasing power, there are many opportunities for us to recieve bulk discounts and free shipping from many of our favorite vendors.  In order to optimize and maximize our benefits, there are certain rules guidelines that must be followed. 

 

Participation Rules and Guidelines:

  • Final cost of your portion of the product order, plus shipping & handling, is calculated by the buying club committee. 
  • Payment for your portion of product, shipping and handling must be paid prior to the ordering deadline.  Payment can be completed through the AAW Paypal account or check (if received by deadline). 
  • Member is responsible for arranging pick up of product at designated location within 14 days of delivery notification. 
  • Errors/Returns/Damaged Goods will be handled between the member purchasing and the AAW Buying Club point of contact.  Each suppliers’ policy and procedures will be followed.  When possible, the AAW Point of contact will identlfy errors and damaged goods before delivery.  If these are discovered by the member, it will be handled between the member and point of contact.  The point of contact will be the liasion to the supplier. 
  • For members without a seller’s permit, you are required to report and pay use tax on your annual IRS tax return.
